TEAM SKEETER               ADOPTED!

Skeeter is a very sweet dog but she is a hound and loves to run and also is very powerful. When she is on a leash going for her walks, she will do real good but once she sees another animal she will pull to go over to see them.  A typical hound, when she does get loose she will run in the yard and has a great time, then when she is ready she will come back to us to go back into her kennel.  She is a great and loving dog who really wants to please, but again if she can get away she will.

Robert Grissett and Ronell Baker will be put to the test to see who has a stronger will, the inmates or the WVHS shelter-wise dog. I wish the men good luck. SKEETER will be reporting weekly to me.

Grissett felt it was important that you get to   know this little girl, Skeeter.

Hi,

My name is Robert G. I am the trainer of Skeeter; she is a 4-5 year old hound.  I just want to tell you a little about this wonderful animal God created.  I’ve been training her close to 3 weeks now.  I’ve become very attached to her.  She listens very well.  As well as she is a very loving dog.  She loves to play but when it comes time to train, she understands its all business.  She is not “treat” motivated.  However, every time she smells fish she goes wild.  She’s doing very well on her commands.  She is trained to use the bathroom outside will not go in the crate or the place she sleeps at.  She loves people. She does not snap on nobody. As well as she barked one time, other than that she loves to hang out.  She is a great loving dog who needs a loving family, who doesn’t mind animals.  She will make your family whole and feel complete.

Thank you,

Inmate Grissett, Trainer
